Copycat is a long running cover song night based out of Ottos Shrunken Head, a punk rock Tiki Bar since 2007.
At Copycat bands that normally play original songs learn and play cover songs which vary according to different themes while host DJ Xerox and guest DJ’s spin all cover songs. The themes can range from Bacharach to Frank Zappa.
After a successful test run at Forbidden Island in Alameda in 2017, Copycat returns to the West Coast for a series of shows giving a sampling of various themes. Included in this tour will be a mini tour of the Bay area with shows of different themes in Oakland, a return to Forbidden Island in Alameda and Oakland.
DJ Xerox is originally from Miami Beach. He runs several events throughout New York at Ottos Shrunken Head and Beauty Bar NYC.
